The AS 8 1500 bag openers is designed to handle waste from separate collection and is intended to tear the bags, causing the material contained in them to spill out and facilitating subsequent treatment of the waste.
It consists of an accumulation hopper, a rotating drum complete with fixed rostrums and a contrast grid divided into three sectors.
The rotary motion of the drum is synchronised with the contrast grid and has the dual purpose of gripping and breaking the bag.
