Paper sorting plants
Coparm paper sorting plants and systems are designed to guarantee high performance in the recovery and use of cellulose fractions. The aim is to obtain clean output material that conforms to paper mill standards.
Operating principle
The process involves dosing, screening, extraction, and refining. After pre-opening, the streams are evened out using hoppers and feed belts, then sent to Coparm rotary screens for initial particle size separation. In advanced configurations, the plant has incorporated optical sorting units to distinguish different types of paper and cardboard.
Configuration and automation
Each plant is modular and customisable according to the quantities handled and to operational requirements. Main components – screens, belts, and support structures – made of high-strength steel ensure durability and reliability. Control and supervision systems allow the real-time monitoring and optimisation of process flows.
